Question

Dress Code

Answer

The dress code is "Mountain Cocktail," which basically means dress up and plan for mountain elements including uneven ground and ranging temperatures. It gets a little chilly at night, so you may want to bring a layer. Earthy or wildflower inspired colors are great, but please wear any color you love! Dresses and Skirts: Think midi dresses or skirts, long dresses that feel light enough to dance in the mountains, and elegant or elevated knee length options. Pants and Jackets: Think button down and optional jacket. There is no need for a tie, but please feel free to wear one if you like. The wedding party's family will be wearing ties. Bolo ties are welcome!

Question

Transportation to and from the ceremony

Answer

We will not have transportation running from hotels. Guests should plan to arrive at Valinor Ranch on their own by 6:00 PM via Uber, taxi, or car. From Valinor Ranch, shuttles will take everyone to the ceremony site and back to the reception. On-site camping is also available for guests who prefer to stay at the venue.

Question

Can I camp?

Answer

Tent camping is available at the venue for the full wedding weekend. If you’re interested in camping, please message Margot (205-908-6235) to let us know. We can help coordinate details, including shower access at the venue or the Carbondale Recreation Center, as well as tent and gear rentals. Portable restrooms will be available on-site.
