VRBO Cabin Rental, Elijay, GA

Our wedding weekend will take place in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in the Great Smokey Mountains near Elijay, Georgia, located about an hour and a half north of Atlanta, Georgia. We've have rented a large cabin along a branch of the beautiful Coosawattee River. Our ceremony will take place at the cabin and we hope very much that you will join us for the entire weekend by renting a cabin of your own. We have specifically chosen this area both because of its natural scenic beauty, but also because there are many cabins available to rent that are within walking or a very short drive (10-15 minutes) from our cabin. We rented through VRBO and if you follow this link, it will take you to both our location and the dates of our wedding. Coosawattee River Resort Association

This is the larger resort complex where we are staying. The Coosawatee River Resort rents cabins, villas, and lodges for groups of 1-8 people. If you can, ask to stay as close to or on Falcone Trail, in Ellijay, GA as possible. That's where we'll be :) Call their reservation number: (706) 276-1060 Extension 252 to ask about availability.

Atlanta International Airport

For our family and friends who will be coming in from out of town, the easiest way to get to fly in is to arrive in Atlanta and then carpool or rent a car to drive up to the mountains.

The wedding location is located about 90 miles, or about 2 hours, north of Atlanta. If you are flying into Atlanta and need a car rental, Enterprise offers a number of discounts. If you are interested in carpooling with someone else, please let us know and we will try and arrange for you to get up to the Smokey Mountains with some friends.
