Welcome to the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains! We have rented a large resort style cabin in the Appalachian Mountains north of Atlanta. The property is located inside Coosawattee River Resort. It is a gated community, so if you are not staying in the resort, we will need the name of the principal driver in order to get you into the property. Get settled in, grab yourself a six-pack or a bottle, and head on over to our cabin for an evening of getting to know everyone. Sit by the fire, tell stories, play games or cards at the table, or just relax on the porch and enjoy the view and get to know everyone else before the big day! Koala River Lodge is located next to Laurel Waters (which we have also rented). It has easier more accessible parking, so please park there. Or better yet, just walk over from your own cabin and join us for an evening of friends!

Play a range of board games from "Kings of New York", "Cuba", "Scythe", "Edge of Darkness", "The Thing", "Pandemic", and others. You are even encouraged to bring your own favorites! Want to go a couple of rounds of cards? Play some "Spite and Malice", "Canasta", or a "Texas Hold 'Em"? Grab a few friends and a table! No previous knowledge required, just find some friends and play a game!
D&D & Fiasco (Optional)

Gather your party! Play a one-shot D&D or Fiasco session! We'll have dice and all the books! Whether you are old school, a veteran gamer, or just want to learn what all the fuss is about, now's your chance to play!

We hope that you will join us for a very informal vegan and vegetarian backyard BBQ! Pull up a chair, sit by the fire, talk to newly made friends over a veggie burger, backed beans, a cocktail, a glass of wine, and some grilled veggies! We invite each and everyone to share with us a toast, a speech, a story, or a favorite memory as we relax in the backyard over delicious fare! And save room for cake and s'mores around the bonfire!
