Wedding Party

We are fortunate to have such wonderful friends and family and we couldn't imagine saying "I do" without these amazing humans standing by our sides.

Grace Moenning

Maid of Honor

My first true friend in Denver and my MOH for so many reasons. We met while in line to get our manager pictures taken at Nordstrom and as we were exchanging digits to hang out, she quoted Dumb and Dumber (one of my favorite movies of all time). From that moment on, I knew we were destined to be friends. Our friendship is peppered with so many amazing and hilarious moments, that range from dressing up as Harry and Lloyd for Halloween, skiing and hiking trips all around the great state of Colorado, making up Christmas songs and weird videos, and becoming “adults” together. Grace puts others before herself and is half best friend, half therapist (I swear it’s her calling). I’m so honored to have such an incredible woman stand next to me on our wedding day.

Mark Tinklenberg

Best Man

I first met this skinny kid from Iowa in 7th grade and after over two decades of road trips, countless days on the ski slopes, and a little legal trouble (a Billy Madison flaming bag gone wrong), he has become like a brother. I am lucky to call this guy my best man and my best friend. He also hates public speaking as much as I do, so good luck!

Erin Keller

Bridesmaid

My oldest friend, Erin and I have known each other since we were 9 years old. Erin was always the quiet, reserved one, and I was the mischief-seeking, troublemaking one. Much to the chagrin of our parents, I would make Erin hide with me when our parents came to pick one of us up, so we could hang out longer. One time, I made her climb up their stone chimney to the tippy top so they couldn’t find us anywhere – I thought it was a pretty dang good hiding spot! As time went on, our pastimes matured to studying for classes, skiing and playing soccer together, and chasing after high school boys. We went off to different colleges but called each other almost every day and visited each other often. Erin has been such a solid friend in my life and I’m lucky to have known her for over 20 years.

John O'Rourke

Groomsman

Friendship circa 2001, John and I met at Mines where his secret stash of snacks was unrivaled. John had the pleasure of being my roommate for some of my wilder years, which is probably why he is such a great dad and has the patience of a Saint (you’re welcome). I’m honored to have been a part of his engagement to Leslie, their wedding, and now the Godfather to their first-born son, Thomas.

Michal Kolb

Bridesmaid

I met this singing beauty one fateful day in the music halls of East Anchorage High School. Little did I know that I’d not only become great friends with her, but also with her awesome fam. Most weekdays/weekends in high school, you could find me at the Wilson’s…rough housing with her brothers, playing tunes on my oboe or piano for her mom, or sneaking out to see Harry Potter at midnight (sorry, Mrs. Wilson). We went off to different colleges but have always made it a point to visit each other and continue our wonderful friendship. I appreciate her honesty, loyalty, and for always remembering the little anniversaries in my life (that even I sometimes forget).

Conner Staley

Groomsman

Our families lived next to each other in Parker growing up and we became friends just as quickly as we became neighborhood tyrants. We sharpened our sniper skills by shooting little green army men with BB guns, driving golf balls into the neighbor’s yard, and dissecting model rocket engines to harvest gunpowder for homemade fireworks. Conner has always been a great friend and is a big reason why I went to Mines.

Lauren Foster

Bridesmaid

A bond formed in college during our time as Passages Leaders (part our school orientation program), Lauren and I solidified our friendship when we ran into each other at our school cafeteria and proceeded to talk in midwestern accents for 30 minutes. From there, our friendship blossomed. Lauren and I lived together for nearly 3 years, in college and after, where we began our lives as adults by binge-watching Keeping up with the Kardashians, exploring Fremont’s bar scene, and belting out lyrics to random songs AT THE SAME TIME while doing the dishes. Lauren’s zest for life, love, and creativity are what make her so incredibly special.

Shawn O'Keefe

Groomsman

A superb engineer, a world traveller, and a well-read gentleman with a knowledge of fine wines; there’s nothing Shawn can’t do (just ask him). He’s a genuine guy that expects the best out of people. But he also has a wild side. He will BLAST a song on repeat until you are thoroughly annoyed and made his first introduction to Mark by jumping out of a closet and tackling him with a tarp. Needless to say, this guy is one-of-a-kind.

Laura Coe

Bridesmaid

Yet another Passages friendship (thank you, UPS, for these amazing life-long friends)! So many memories helped form the foundation of our friendship, including our school backpacking trip along the Washington coast, being members of our school's business and leadership program, dressing up for Passages activities, and being roomies. Since then, our college crew has taken trips all over the US to see each other, forming even more memories for the books (including barely applying sunscreen in Hawaii and all getting severely burned in odd patterns). Laura is adventurous, beyond loyal, and one of the most fun-loving humans you’ll ever meet.

Josh Jenkins

Groomsman

Whether it’s planning a college “fish bowl” party with a band in the basement, or doing pushups in Vegas when he hits blackjack, there’s never a dull moment with Josh. He’s also a stellar dad, engineer, and friend, and opened the door for my professional career when I was fresh out of college.

Kim Bjorkman

Bridesmaid

Kim will tell you that I was slightly obnoxious when I first met her freshman year of college (are we surprised), but over time, it turns out we had quite a bit in common. Kim was a fellow music nerd, so we often ran into each other in the music building at UPS. Our bond fortified when we became Passages Leaders together and later, roommates. Kim is most definitely our “smart friend” and recently passed her boards to become a Physical Therapist! She is kind-hearted, adventurous, and one of the most self-less people I know. Never change, Kimmy!

Lizzy Mosher

Bridesmaid

Sisters in Gamma Phi Beta. Although Laura and Kim joined Gphi later in college, Lizzy and I were original freshman year recruits. She was there for the boy drama, the late nights at frat parties (totally sober, of course), my bout with giardia (that is probably her favorite story to tell), playing pretty pretty princess in Gphi’s basement…the list goes on. Lizzy is your shoulder to cry on and your jokester to bring spirits right back up to where they belong. She is a one-of-a-kind gal.

Sam Stookesberry

Officiant

During my first week at UPS, Sam and I met at the North Quad, attended a DMB concert at the Gorge, and rest is history. We have remained close friends over the years due to our mutual love of snow, similar sense of humor, and because we just have so much darn fun together. After Eric and I started dating, Sam was soon introduced and thus another friendship began. From ski trips to local Colorado ski resorts, to skiing in Switzerland and Japan, our bond has fortified and it shall never break (aka you’re never getting rid of us, sorry). But in all honesty, Sam has been an incredible friend over the years. He will drop anything to help out a friend in need, with a smile on his face and a joke to regale. We couldn’t imagine a better person to officiate our wedding this winter!
