If you're planning on arriving early, head up to Monarch Mountain for a day of Colorado skiing! You can rent skis, boots, poles etc. at the base of the mountain. PRO TIP: If buying tickets, many seasons passes offer discounts to Monarch, so be sure to ask about that at the ticket counter.
