The ceremony and the reception will be held at separate locations. Guests are encouraged to plan to drive or arrange their own transportation to reach the reception venue. The church is located in South Milwaukee, WI and the reception venue is located about 14.5 miles/23.3 kilometers (24 minutes) away in Mt. Pleasant, WI.
We warmly welcome everyone- regardless of background or belief - to participate in our wedding ceremony. Some pro tips: 1. There will be several readings from the bible, multiple prayers, and singing. 2. If this is your first Catholic Mass, a good rule of thumb is if the priest or others are standing, you should stand if you're able, and vice-versa. 3. Non-Catholic guests are encouraged to participate in all elements of the Mass (with one exception). During Communion, we kindly ask that you remain seated or come forward for a blessing by crossing your arms over your chest. Duration: About one hour Seating: Traditionally, the bride's family sits on the left and the groom's on the right.
