Is there a dress code?

Answer

We request that guests dress formal, meaning no jeans or flip flops if possible. We want everyone to feel their best, so please wear whatever makes you feel beautiful! How often do you get to dance around an old mansion?? Our DJ is awesome I am very excited for you all to meet her. If you wanna fit the vibe, we are going for like a moody tea party situation. Not like gothic or emo, just moody. So think emeralds, pomegrante, powder blue, blush pink, etc. If you are confused I am not sure how else to help you.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Yes - this is a kid-friendly wedding! We'd love to celebrate with all of the little ones in our lives. That said, if you want a night off from your kids, you can tell your parents or babysitter that I said it wasn't. I won't tell! Please just make sure to respond accordingly with your RSVP.

Will I have to be outside at all?

Answer

Every wedding event will happen indoors unless we need to do some kind of photo opp for any reason. Or if you want to check out the ciggy balcony on the third floor I guess. Kansas City is very finicky when it comes to weather in the spring - it could be a gorgeous day or it could also be snowing. We love it here! Just make sure to check your weather app before heading this way if you are flying in.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4 p.m., so please try to scoot your way in ~30 minutes before.

Which side do I sit on if I am technically friends with James but I like Marcea more?

Answer

Such a fair question, honestly. I'll know in my heart where you belong - sit wherever you find room. Or wherever my niece and nephew tell you to sit (they are the ushers and they take their jobs very seriously).

What's the parking situation?

Answer

Loose Mansion offers onsite parking, so you shouldn't have to hunt for anything in the streets! If you plan to drink, however, please either take the Streetcar or Uber to the wedding. :)
