Horseback riding!
The Ranch schedules rides through the day from absolute beginners (if Megh can handle it - so can you!) to experienced riders. Just let the Ranch staff know you are interested in scheduling a ride when you confirm your room reservation. Additional fees will apply.
Kayaking!
The Ranch provides a limited number of kayaks or feel free to bring your own! The water will be very warm in October and the Hudson is a beautiful river to explore. We are sure you will see bald eagles, hawks, and perhaps a deer or moose along the water! The Ranch can also schedule and provide transportation for a river kayaking trip for those interested (additional fees will apply). It's safe. It's fun. It's kayaking.
The Outlets at Lake George
Only about a 30 minute drive away, this outlet mall has a great selection of brands and ample parking.
World's Largest Garage Sale!
GARAGE SALE! FLEA MARKET! CRAFT FAIR! FOOD FEST! UPDATE - The Garage Sale has been officially approved to go on in October 1,2, and 3 2021. Thousands of people flock here every year! They will have over 500 vendors stretching the length of Main Street and throughout many of Warrensburg’s residential neighborhoods. Shoppers can expect to find new and old items, antiques, collectibles, toys, and much, much more! You will have no problem finding something to eat in Warrensburg, as there are street food vendors EVERYWHERE - selling everything from chicken wings, and BBQ ribs to gourmet chicken pitas and home baked goods. Additional Garage Sale Details: The Garage Sale officially starts Saturday - but many start early Friday across the region and many "official" garage sale booths in Warrensburg open Friday at 5 PM. Have plenty of cash on hand. Dress in layers.

The Ranch also has an outdoor pool. New England weather is unpredictable - so perhaps you will have a hot October weekend and can lounge by the pool for a nice pre-wedding tan!
