We're having a fusion wedding! There will be a mixture of Colombian and Indian traditions throughout the weekend.
We recommend you arrive Thursday to be able to enjoy all the events that will be taking place on Friday and Saturday. For our guests traveling from Europe or India, we suggest arriving in Colombia earlier in the week so you can adjust to the new timezone and feel fresh and ready to celebrate Friday.
This is entirely optional, but Uber is also a great way to get around Pereira!
Please refer to the "Schedule" section of the site for all the details!
We are still sorting out all the details, but the schedule section of the site will be updated with exact locations soon.
All events will take place outdoors. The Haldi, Baraat, and ceremony are completely outdoors, and the Sangeet and reception will be held in a roofed, open-air area. * The Haldi and ceremony will be on grass, so keep that in mind when choosing your shoes!
Pereira is located in the heart of the Colombian tropics, which gives it a warm and humid climate year-round. Temperatures typically range between 18°C and 28°C (64°F - 82°F), offering pleasant days and cool nights. However, as a tropical city, it's common to experience brief, sudden rain showers at any time of the day. These showers usually don't last long, but it's good to be prepared.
Our wedding is a joyful fusion of Colombian and Indian traditions! Wearing Indian attire is completely optional, and you are welcome to dress in traditional "Western" outfits for all events. However, if you'd like to try an Indian outfit, Haldi or Sangeet are the perfect moments to do so. Check out the "dress code" tab for more information!

- The “indowestern” sections of the sites tend to have fun, modern looks. This is great for guests that want something festive but familiar. - Lehenga: A traditional garment consisting of a three-piece ensemble: a long, ankle-length skirt (the lehenga), a fitted blouse or top (the choli), and a long scarf (the dupatta). These tend to be on the heavier side and would likely be harder to pack. - Saree/sari: Garment consisting of a length of cotton or silk elaborately draped around the body. This would likely be more friendly for packing purposes. Look out for "ready to wear" or "stitched" so you can easily put them on. - Sharara set: Three-piece outfit consisting of a short or long kurti (tunic), wide-legged, flared pants called sharara bottoms, and a dupatta (scarf). - Kurta set: A traditional Indian outfit with a long tunic and coordinating pants. - Sherwani: A traditional Indian long coat worn over a kurta, usually paired with fitted pants. More formal than a kurta set. ** The terms saree, lehenga and sharara are specifically for women's outfits, kurta sets is for both women & men, and sherwanis are just for men.
