Brother of the Bride
Some of my earliest memories of childhood revolve around sitting behind DJ as he played Nintendo 64 and Game Cube classics. Despite how annoying it must have been for a teenager to have a seven year old breathing down his neck, DJ never told me to leave. In fact, he encouraged me to embrace the nerdiness. DJ is a font of knowledge on a huge range of subjects. Movies, tango, fencing, hieroglyphs, video games, the list goes on. I deeply value his open mindedness, and curiosity, which are only complimented by his equally sweet girlfriend, Lauren.
Brother of the Bride
Through the years, my brother Joe and I have reinvented our friendship. In grade school, I would come home to his demonic countenance and prepare for the battle of the millennia. Somehow, neither of us got too hurt, except when I threw a Pringles can at his face. Once I got to high school, we bonded over our shared love of music, soccer, and trivia games. In this time, Joe gave me some life philosophy. He told me to learn to joke with myself a bit more, not to take things so seriously. Though he is many hundreds of miles away (in his newly purchased home), his advice helps me daily. Currently, Joe is enjoying the newlywed life with his beautiful wife, Leila.

In the spring of 2017, Vinny welcomed me into her Alpha Chi Omega family with open arms. Our mutual love of nerdy things had us sitting side by side chatting about Game of Thrones fan theories for hours. She is an outstanding empathetic listener, which is what I think makes her such an incredible nurse. Her very presence is calming, don't know how to explain it. I could go on all day about this gem of a human. Without her, this wedding would likely not be happening. Her gift in being the catalyst to our relationship is something that we will cherish forever.

Sorority recruitment is a rough experience, anyone who went through it on either side of the process can attest to this. But in the first round of our 2018 recruitment, magic happened. Hannah and I skipped the small talk, diving right into talking about women in STEM, family, and our goals in life. Her authenticity and drive brought tears to my eyes then and still do to this day. Needless to say, I knew right then that she would be my little. Now, my baby is all grown up. Accepted a job with Deloitte following her public health dreams, engaged to the love of her life, Daniel, and absolutely staying true to her kind, generous, and goofy nature.

As Vinny's big in Alpha Chi, Meggan became my adoptive grandmother of sorts in 2017. Through the years, our relationship blossomed into something more than Greek life labels. Meggan, though busy with the workings of her own life, always has a smile and the best hugs to bring you out of any slump. She works as a school psychologist, where she is able to use her empathy and positive energy towards bettering the education of kids. I was honored to be a part of her wedding last year, where she tied the knot with her high school sweetheart, Tristan. She truly shines wherever she goes.

Lauren and I met in the 8th grade, which feels like eons ago. We didn't get close until close to the end of high school, when we bonded over our shared love of edgy memes and takeout Chinese food. Lauren's creativity, then and now, is incredible. She directed a masterpiece film for our AP American History class, blew everyone away with the editing. Lauren has always been my hypewoman and confidant. I always thought that she would be a fantastic therapist, but she chose to shift her talents towards law school. Everyday, she serves as a model of faith, introspection, and lightheartedness.

Sharing many classes since the 8th grade, Colin and I had an absolute blast in high school. To begin, he is actually hilarious. His sense of humor was off the wall in high school and remains so today. No one else could take a tough situation and spin it the way that he does. His drive is incredible to me, and that's coming from someone with a heavy schedule. Back in the day, he had like 400 varsity letters, did marching band, musical, and had time somehow to be an AP student AND an active leader in boy scouts. His drive doesn't end there as now he works as a pharmacy tech, while going to Pitt for engineering. Colin has always been a stalwart and supportive friend.
Sister of the Groom
One of the most mysterious of the Manos clan, Amy has given perhaps one of the greatest gifts of all to Aaron: The gift of music. Little does she know that her involvement with musicals in high school planted a seed, which has blossomed into a deep appreciation for them. Indeed, perhaps it is no small coincidence that Aaron fell in love with Lizzie, who herself was a high school musical star. The verdict is in: Amy is cool.
Sister of the Groom
Marsha is one of Aaron's favorite sisters, which is why she was chosen over all the others for this lofty position, and it has nothing to do with her promise to finally take Aaron for a ride in their new Alfa Romeo. Throughout the years, Marsha has imparted her sage wisdom, whether it was about girls, or the proper moisture content for clay for spinning. She also makes a mean charcuterie board.
Groomsman
What to say about this absolutely stunning lad? Just look at him. He is too good for this world, and he knows it. One of Aaron's premier friends from dental school, they first bonded over their love of Indian food, specifically at Aab India in Columbus. Whether they were getting twisted at dental school parties, burning the late-night oil studying for exams, or having a competition to see who can eat 50 chicken nuggets first, this Dosa-Boye is a first-class ticket to having a good time.

Whenever Aaron thinks about Caroline, he thinks back to an experiment we did in dental school that essentially measured how clean our teeth were, measured on a 0-999 scale, with normal teeth scoring in the 300-500 range. Aaron's score was embarrassingly too high to mention in public, while Caroline's score was... well... around 20? 30? Our instructor had never seen a score so low. She is also dog-mother to Aaron & Lizzie's dog-son Appa's first true love: Rosie. And keep your gluten away from her!

This is Squid. Squid has two primary functions. She nurtures, and puts just like, way too much food on your plate and makes you eat it all. And then at the gym she has the most insane workout schedules that make you want to vomit after five minutes. She, too, is a dentist.
Groomsman
Tony is an enigma. Aaron met Tony at their dental school interview, and were alphabetically forced to become best friends when they were both accepted. Aaron has many fond memories of getting swole at JO South and playing pong, studying together at Bruegger's before class, and going to cult-like meditation retreats. After six years of knowing him, Aaron cannot definitively rule out that he is not a septuagenarian in the skin-suit of a young man. But he's like 80% sure he's not.

Sometimes, a name just sticks. Literally everyone in Aaron's family knows Joe as "Chocolate Joe," given his former (and suspected current) penchant for extra-chocolatey milk. Aaron met Joe in 6th grade, Mrs. Easterday's science class. Since then, they have remained steadfast friends. Whether they were having slumber parties to play video games all night (a totally heteronormative activity), getting the cops called on them for trespassing in the woods (don't tell Aaron's parents!), or discussing the finer parts of Kierkegaard's philosophy, they were always making each other laugh.
