Please RSVP [https://www.zola.com/wedding/mandrew2025/rsvp] by January 6, 2025. Please note that the deadline to reserve hotel rooms in our wedding blocks is before this date.

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at the The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas: 4150 N MacArthur Blvd, Irving, TX 75038. This is NOT the same location as The Ritz-Carlton Dallas.

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?

Answer

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Ritz-Carlton for "one stop shopping". Getting around the greater DFW area can be nerve-racking! We recommend ride share (Uber, Lyft). There is public transportation (DART) as well.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

Yes. There will be both self-park and valet options at the Ritz-Carlton. The rates are below. Overnight Valet Parking: $40.00 per vehicle, per night (plus sales tax) Overnight Self-Parking: $23.00 per vehicle, per night (plus sales tax) Day Valet Parking: $16.00 + $3.00 per hour, per vehicle (plus sales tax) Day Self-Parking: $10.00 + $2.00 per hour, per vehicle (plus sales tax)

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The plan is for the ceremony to be outside and the reception to be inside. If the weather does not cooperate, all activities will be indoors.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Answer

Yes. There will be a shuttle that runs between La Quinta Inn and The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas, Las Colinas throughout the evening of the wedding and ceremony.

Answer

Due to venue constraints we're only able to invite children of immediate family and those in the wedding party. Feel free to reach out for clarification. To facilitate parental party time, we will have limited on site babysitting service.

What is the weather like in Dallas?

Answer

Normal high temperatures for the beginning of February typically fall in the upper 50s Fahrenheit. Normal low temperatures can fall into the low 30s. However, north Texas weather can be unpredictable: 2023 saw the weather of that week with highs in the 30s and lows in the 20s with snow and rain. 2024 saw highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s with lots of sun. Please do check the weather forecasts closer to the event date.

Answer

Passed hors d'oeuvres and a plated dinner.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes, these options will be listed on the RSVP cards sent with the formal invitations. If you RSVP online, there will be an option during the process to add in any dietary restrictions.

We are offended you would even ask that. Yes there will be.

We do not expect gifts given the onus of travel, but there are Zola and Amazon registries available through this website (https://www.zola.com/wedding/mandrew2025/registry)

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.

What is the wedding day itinerary?

Answer

The time prior to the ceremony is for our guests to make the most of in Dallas. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4 pm central time, and last approximately half an hour. Happy hour will begin in the reception space at approximately 4:30 pm. The reception will last from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

On time.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes and no. Guests will have access to the reception space/bars immediately after the ceremony for about an hour prior to the beginning of the reception. You may also use this time to return to your room (or hotel), run errands, or provide comedic relief during the wedding party pictures.

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?

Answer

On Friday January 31, there will be a Welcome Event for all guests at the Ritz Carlton from approximately 7-9 pm. On Sunday February 2, we are planning a brunch for those who wish to attend. RSVPs will be included in the formal invitation.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Yes. However, the bride requests that you have your phones away during the wedding ceremony.

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

Yes. We would appreciate not directly tagging the bride, groom, or wedding party in the photos however.
