Mal met Jean in 2010 through mutual friends shortly after Jean's return from Italy, where she lived for two years while attending language school. They became roommates later that year, and built a fast friendship over a love of food, travel and shopping. Though they've both had cross-country moves and haven't lived in the same state since 2014, they've stayed close through many hours-long phone conversations, and make it a point to see each other at least once a year. Though she's lived everywhere, Jean's hometown is Birmingham, AL. She majored in musical theater at University of South Florida and has the voice of an angel. Jean currently lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband Matt and their French bulldog Simone.
Tyler Holt

Matt and Tyler have been friends since they met at Iowa State seventeen years ago. Since then, Matt has lived in England while Tyler spent a few years in El Salvador, both of them remaining friends throughout that time. Later on Matt served as Dignitary Supreme, overseeing the legal particulars of Tyler's marriage to Lauri Nielsen. It went well. Tyler has agreed to return the favor, traveling all the way to Florida to stand by his friend Matt while he weds his best friend Mallory. Tyler currently lives in Des Moines IA with his wife Lauri, and their three cats Thumper, Biscuit, and Freddie.
