FAQs

Question

How do I RSVP to the wedding?

Answer

Please RSVP through our Zola website. This will become available once the wedding invitations are sent out.

Question

Where are the wedding ceremony and reception being held?

Answer

Both the wedding ceremony and the reception are being held at Newport Vineyards, 909 East Main Rd. (Rte 138), Middletown, RI 02842.

Question

What time does the wedding ceremony start?

Answer

The wedding ceremony starts at 6:00 pm. Guests are welcome on property no earlier than 5:30 pm.

Question

What time does the wedding reception end?

Answer

The wedding reception will officially end at 11:30 pm (drink your coffee to stay awake!)

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. As the ceremony is expected to take place outside on grass (very thick grass), would be careful with stiletto heels as they may sink into the ground. Also, given the wedding ceremony starts later in the evening, you may want to bring a small jacket or sweater in case you get cold. The cocktail hour has both outdoor and indoor options and the reception is indoors.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotels?

Answer

Yes! We will provide shuttle service to and from The Pell Hotel and the Residence Inn (see the Hotels & Accommodations page). We'll add a shuttle schedule to the website closer to the date of the wedding.

Question

Does the venue have parking?

Answer

Yes! The venue has a free parking lot for any guests who opt to drive.

Question

Is the wedding venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes. Everything is on a single floor (no stairs) with room for walkers, wheelchairs, canes, etc. The venue also has a golf-cart to help guests who need assistance get from the parking lot to the outdoor ceremony site and back to the reception.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, both the cocktail hour and reception are full open bar. We do ask any guests who chose to consume alcoholic beverages to utilize the shuttle, Uber/Lyft or other ride share service, or a designated driver to make sure everyone gets home safely.

Question

Can I bring a plus one or a child to the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately due to size restrictions at the venue, not everyone will be given a plus one and our wedding is adults only. All invited guests will be specified on the invitations. If we are able to accommodate more guests, we will reach out to you directly.

Question

If I have more questions about the wedding, who should I contact?

Answer

Feel free to contact either the bride (Mallory Poskus) or groom (Brendon Pires) via text, or email us at our joint email account malandbren2026@gmail.com
