Mallory and Brendon's love story began on June 23, 2022, where they took their Hinge convo offline to the barstools of Carrie Nation Cocktail Club. Mallory was charmed by Brendon's striking good looks, easy-going nature, and their shared love for endurance sports. Brendon fell for Mallory's unorthodox first-date questions, vibrant personality, and mischievousness. Much to Mallory's surprise, Brendon kept agreeing to more and more dates spanning from the bowling alleys of Seaport, to Fenway Park, to home-cooked scallops and risotto (a Brendon specialty). It quickly became apparent Mallory didn't like beer (though she pretended for a few weeks) nor was she any good at bicycling, but Brendon chose to love her regardless. And Mallory put aside her night-owl tendencies as she quickly noticed Brendon's preference to be in bed before the sun sets. She has appreciated the extra hours of sleep. Despite these small differences, their shared love of long walks around the city, going to the movies, trying to consume all the best cheeseburgers of Boston, and every episode of I Think You Should Leave, forged a strong bond and a mutual desire to continue to get to know one another. The first "I love yous" were exchanged on the most romantic day of the year - Saint Paddy's Day Parade in Southie. A year and a half later, Mallory moved on from her beloved Southie pad to the beautiful streets of Cambridge to live with Brendon. After just a few months in their new living arrangement it was clear that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together and on February 20, 2025, after a long flight home from a 2-week girls trip in the Philippines, Brendon proposed to her in their beloved apartment. She said yes, and the rest is history! Thank you all for joining us on our wedding day to celebrate our love and the next stage of our journey through life together!
