To take the LIRR from JFK, take the AirTrain at JFK terminals to the Jamaica stop ($8.50) and transfer to the LIRR across the station. The track for the Montauk bound train will be announced 10 minutes before its departure. FYI-Sometimes there are successive trains on the same track, be sure you are on the MONTAUK bound train. To take the Jitney from JFK or LGA, take a taxi or car service from the airport to the Eastbound Hampton Jitney Queens Airport connection stop (address: 190-02 Horace Harding Expressway, in front of the AMC Loews Fresh Meadows 7) Allow 15 to 20 minutes from LaGuardia Allow 25 to 30 minutes from JFK Book your reservation from the Queens Airport Connection to East Hampton on the website. Either the regular jitney or the Ambassador ($41 or $65 respectively). They run roughly once an hour. There is no ticket, they will confirm your name once underway. Islip/MacArthur Airport: Passengers will need to make a reservation with Village Taxi, (631-588-1055). Eastbound: Islip/MacArthur Airport connection passengers should take a cab to the southwest corner of Ronkonkoma Avenue and the Eastbound L.I.E. Service Road. (L.I.E. Exit 60 Eastbound). Scheduled pick-up is one hour and five minutes from 40th St. departure time. Passengers should call HJ at 631-283-4600 upon arrival at airport to reconfirm pick-up.
