Barn casual. Jeans, boots or sneakers... dress comfortably for spending time on a horse farm in June 😃
Yes, plus one only
Yes. Most of the children attending are under 10. If they’re older and in addition to, please let us know so we can make adjustments to how much food we will need to provide.
Mingle and enjoy a beverage and some snacks while the new brides and wedding party have pictures taken. We would love to have a group picture taken with all our guests too!
You will be missed! But we understand that not everyone will be able to travel to attend. Please make sure to RSVP so we can plan accordingly
Yes! Directions will be provided. Your GPS will get you there as well 😉
The ceremony will begin at 3pm. We kindly ask that you arrive no later than 2:30/2:45 to find a seat without rushing. You can arrive earlier if wish to visit with other guests and take in the beauty of where you are 💗 There is a brand new baby foal! A little filly!!! She’s so cute!
There will be plenty of parking on the property with signs directing you where to go.
Yes we do! Please see the reservation information in the travel section of our website for details. However! It has been brought to my attention that the rooms may now be less expensive if you book outside of the wedding block... 😒
Please RSVP by May 15th so we can make any necessary adjustments to accommodate our guests.
We have registered for a few items through this website but we are mostly asking for monetary donations to help go towards remodeling/repairing our barn. Please take a look at the gift registry section of our website.
If you like our centerpieces enough that you would like to take one, please help yourself 💗
Yes. We may end up doing a Facebook live for several people unable to attend...
If for some reason you don’t have either brides phone number or email, please send all questions to carlsonarvinwedding@yahoo.com
We would love to be able to visit with everyone who is able to come in for the wedding as much as possible, however to keep stress down with everything that will be going on, we have to limit our time. Please join us Friday evening from 5-8 or so at the Roanoke Village Inn for drinks and supper! A preselected menu will be provided with prices. We hope to see you here as well to visit before the big day! We also plan on having breakfast at the hotel the morning after ☺️ Update: the hotel is not currently offering breakfast due to the current stupidity. Other options are being looked into. I’ll post as soon as I have more details ☺️ One option is to go to a little local restaurant called Sara’s. Located on 24 in front of Kroger, across the street practically from the hotel... No arrangements will be made but if breakfast is available, we can just meet there. They’re good is also delicious 😋
Yes, of course! We are planning a delicious BBQ potluck style buffet. Be adventurous, it’s all oh so good! Small selection of beer (Miller Lite and Coors light mostly) and homemade wine will be available as well as Iced tea, Lemonade and water. No hard alcohol will be provided or allowed. The homemade wine is pretty strong... Feel free to bring a cooler with your favorite beverage though if we’re not providing it ☺️ Drinks and Appetizers for snacking before the ceremony and or after such a meat and cheese platter and a veggie platter will be provided We made our own summer sausage! Make sure to try some!
We plan to wrap things up by 9pm. Nice and early. However if the party isn’t ready to slow down, we can get a Bluetooth speaker and keep it going a little while longer ☺️
Please feel free to bring a cooler with your favorite beverage if we’re not providing it. We only ask no hard alcohol be brought on the property.
If only a few people are able to attend due to Covid 19, we are still going to get married on June 6th. We have enough people attending so we are moving forward with all plans. Nothing will be rescheduled at this point. No further dates will be planned as uncertainty is always going to be there, coronavirus or not. It makes no sense to reschedule our wedding at this time. If you wish to wear a mask and “social distance” go ahead.
