I had been on an online dating site for a couple years and no one caught my eye. I would turn my notifications off and back on occasionally and was getting ready to turn them off yet again. The next morning, Regina liked my profile. When I saw her pictures and profile, I saw a future and was a little taken back. I thought she was beautiful and sounded very interesting so liked her profile as well. She responded right away and we started talking through the site for a day or two then exchanged phone numbers. By the end of the 4th day texting, we made arrangements to meet that following Saturday, September 1st, 2018. Our 1st date lasted three days and I started going down to see her every weekend. About 6 weeks into our relationship, we decided that we wanted me move down so we could be together. I sold my house in 3 days once it was put on the market! She herself is a dream come true and has been bringing all the dreams I had growing up that I thought had died, to life. She admitted to never being loved the way I love her and has gotten used to truly being loved and appreciated. Turns out that I wasn’t used to it either. Shes the best 🥰 We have found our perfect someone we want to be with and on August 30, 2019, the one year anniversary of our 1st date, Regina asked me to marry her. Of course I said yes 💗. We can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together 🥰
We are moving forward with our plans as best we can given the curcumstances! We completely understand if you are unable to attend due to financial strain or fear of traveling at this time. Just like the flu and all other illnesses, unfortunately, covid 19 isn’t going anywhere and we shouldn’t live in fear. If you’re able to come, please do!!! We are still getting married June 6th no matter what and will be sad not to be able to celebrate with you all as we have imagined. I am losing my health insurance so we cannot and will not be postponing. If you are unable to attend, you are more than welcome to come visit anytime! We can celebrate with you then ☺️
