Pend d'Oreille Bay Trail
This is a beautiful trail that follows Lake Pend Orielle, pronounced pon-der-ay, and is a suitable walk for all ages. In the fall, the leaves will be perfection.
Farragut State Park
On your way out of town, or before you come up to the mountain, take time to visit Farragut State Park. There are multiple trails to hike that follow the lake. This is also the deepest part of the lake! Submarines have been tested near Farragut because the lake is so deep. Keep your open for the Pend Orielle Paddler!

Another state park! A hike around Round Lake is the perfect way to spend the afternoon.
