I am Maisyn’s younger sister and I am currently a sophomore at St. Olaf College. I met Kurtis a few months after he and Maisyn started dating. I have loved getting to spend time with both of them playing card games or super smash bros on the Nintendo 64. I am super excited for the wedding and I look forward to meeting everyone on the dance floor.

Carrie is Kurtis’s older sister and was introduced to Maisyn shortly after Maisyn and Kurtis started dating. Since then, she has had the pleasure of getting to know Maisyn better and spend time with both Kurtis and Maisyn during family dinners, holidays, and vacations.

I met Kurtis during the holidays of 2019 for a casual dinner night. I remember Kurtis walking in the door and, I assume like many others, was immediately struck by his height! Especially when it was juxtaposed against Maisyn and I's sibling Reiley who is, no exaggeration, 1/4 his size. What also struck me was his ease and friendly demeanor - I could immediately tell he would mesh seamlessly with the Prueter bunch. We spent the rest of the evening out on the lake skating (in the -1000 degree weather) as was our family tradition, and got to know him better - his time in the air force, how he met Maisyn, how his brother also works at the same company as me in San Francisco! etc. I remember leaving that night and being so happy for Maisyn and excited to get to know Kurtis more - little did I know that a few years later he would join as a newly minted Prueter sibling! Finally the brother I've always wanted!

I am the beloved cousin of Maisyn and childhood bestie. I just graduated from University of Nebraska and am now moving to Idaho to work at a ski resort! My family has lived up the road from Kurtis but had no idea until Maisyn brought him to Thanksgiving. It has been fab getting to know Kurtis at family gatherings and I cannot wait to bust a move on the dance floor. LETS GET THIS COUPLE HITCHED!

We enlisted in the Air Force around the same time and went through training together and ended up as roommates in Las Vegas, Nevada for a few years flying drones.

Maisyn and I met while both in school at UMD through our campus ministry and church. We quickly became friends and made a lot of fun memories together- from hiking to broomball to cooking meals together too! I am currently a geologist with a consulting company up in Duluth, MN! I love to be adventurous, run, bake and spend time outdoors! I am so very excited to be a part of this wedding!

My first memory of Kurtis was at a church event in 2017. It was a Men's 'Meating' to be exact, where men get together and cook up meat to eat. Naturally, such a glorious event caught the attention of Kurtis. I found myself sitting on a couch next to this tall, slipper wearing, laid back guy talking about his Airforce days and solar panels all while eating a brat. Little did I know Kurtis would eventually become a good friend, roommate, and brother in Christ. I think back fondly on the many hang outs at campus ministry events or in the living room talking about coconut water or some other random topic or reading scriptures together. Our weekly cooking sessions (especially when cooking copious amounts of stew) are an occasion I sincerely miss. Thinking back I also recall when Kurtis and Maisyn first began dating and the care they took to have fun together and share what they loved with each other. They also extended that kindness and care to others using their relationship as a means of encouragement. Their relationship has stood the test of time and distance and I look forward to hearing and witnessing the incredible marriage that they build together.

I’ve been friends with Maisyn for as long as I can remember, and probably some time before that too. We’ve walked -- and run, and biked, and swam, and rollerbladed -- through life side by side, and shared so much that she’s like the sister I never had, and I like to think I’m like the sister that she does already have one of. Sorry Reiley. I recently graduated from UW - Madison with a degree in biology and am working at the U of M’s Clinics and Surgery Center - Masonic Cancer Clinic. I’ve enjoyed getting to know Kurtis through being told all about him by other people; I’m sure I’ll only like him more when I get the chance to finally meet him, because anyone Maisyn loves this much must be pretty amazing. I am so grateful to be able to be part of this incredible day with them both.

I met Kurtis in the summer of 2012 after we both graduated from Air Force Basic Military Training. We were waiting to get dates for training and while we waited we were getting assigned different details (random odd jobs) we ended up sitting next to each other and getting assigned the same detail. We eventually got our training dates which were at the same time. We ended up getting the same training days from that point on and even ended up being sent to the same squadron. We then ended up being roommates for a couple of years before getting deployed and Kurtis got out of the Airforce.
