Take your obligatory touristy pics in front of The Bean and then head east to walk through the wonderland that is Maggie Daley Park. Do some meandering or get aggressive and climb the outdoor rock wall.
Lincoln Park Zoo
Penguins! Monkeys! Big kitties! Free admission! Stop by during a stroll through Lincoln Park. Cafe Brauer is situated at the south end of the zoo.

Rooftop cocktail bar atop the Chicago Athletic Association. Gorgeous views and yummy drinks. Watch out for lines.
Lagunitas Brewing Company
Totally worth the 20 minute uber for the trippy taproom, awesome beers, and entertaining brewery tour. Cheers.

WE LIKE BEER and Revolution makes some of the best in the city. They also have soft pretzels, bacon fat popcorn, and cheese curds so we've done everything we can, the choice is yours. Also, the brewery itself isn't far from the brewpub so book a tour if you want to see their facility
The Art Institute of Chicago
After growing up with an art teacher as a mother, Ryan would never miss out on a chance to encourage a trip to the museum. Seriously though, great museum. You can even recreate the scene in Ferris Bueller, staring intently at the tiny dots of George Seurat.
