Flight
Kona is the closest airport to where we are getting married on the Big Island and where you should fly in. This airport is roughly 20-30 minutes from the resort. United Airlines has a flight out of Denver that is nonstop to Kona for 7hrs and 30mins that is a good flight we recommend. Southwest also has decent priced flights to Kona as well.
House Or Rental
Another good option is looking into an AirBnB or VRBO if you are wanting something near downtown Kona. There are some great vacation condos! All other hotels or resorts are 20-30 minutes away from Kona, and do not have the same amenities or price the Marriott will give us. If you are looking at AirBnB locations Kailua-Kona or Waikoloa Village are good locations to search.
