Our first photo together taken in Ian's apartment. He made chicken parmesan for dinner that has since become my favorite of his recipes!

Ian's introduction to musicals! He's not going to be able to avoid them with me and this show, The King and I, is still his favorite show.

I have convinced Ian that baseball can be fun

...And Ian doesn't let me forget how awesome Hockey is. Go Maple Leafs!!

This was from the same trip to Toronto and is one of my favorites of Ian. Yes it's blurry, but it looks like it's blurry on purpose ;)

We had so much fun exploring Toronto and found this great park in the middle of the city.

And of course, we had to get a picture of the CN tower to prove we were in Toronto.

We biked around Mackinaw Island and even walked a bit in Lake Huron for the first time (for me anyway)

After Mackinaw, we went to the UP (my first time!) to Tahquamenon Falls. It was a great adventure!

The first wedding we went to as a couple was my cousin Maddy's wedding and my family didn't scare him away!

The most recent wedding we went to (pre-pandemic) was my cousin Emily's. This captures the moment I changed into flat shoes and was reminded of our height difference...

Ian introduced me to Rosy Mound State Park in Holland. It is a really cool example of a "dune forest". This kind of habitat only exists in Michigan!

Watching a storm roll in over Lake Michigan

Ian can never resist looking at a cool tree. This one dwarfed him quite a bit.

This next section will be for the four-legged members of our family. We both love our pups. My boy Buddy...

...and Ian's big boy Archie

These two trouble makers could get away with anything when they were small because they were so cute!

I have made it my mission to spoil these kitties so that they will love me as much as they love Ian.

Artemis is slowly learning how to share her man with another woman

And our most recent addition of the sweet girl Daisy! Please excuse my lack of makeup. This was smack dab in the middle of working from home.

She is so sweet but is still pretty anxious. Ian is slowly building trust with her by way of giving her her absolute favorite treat, pizza crust!

I can't resist including this adorable picture of Daisy and Buddy waiting patiently for the treats in my hand.
