Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place? Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at The Watson House & Gardens in Emerald Isle, NC. The ceremony will be outside and waterfront. The reception will be outside on another portion of the grounds.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

While there is no strict dress code, the attire should be kept semi-formal. Ladies should wear semi-formal dresses or jumpsuits, keeping in mind the ceremony is waterfront, and men should wear button downs with dress pants, sports coats, or suits. Ladies, the ceremony is waterfront meaning you will have to walk in grass. I would avoid heels that are not thicker wedged.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

It is June in North Carolina so in other words...unpredictable! Expect it to be warm and pray there is no rain!
