Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Transportation will be provided for guests from the Homewood Suites and the Courtyard Marriott Charleston Waterfront to the wedding at Legare Waring House. Shuttles will depart at 4:15pm (Homewood Suites) and 4:30pm (Marriott Courtyard) respectively. Transportation will also be provided at the conclusion of the event, to return guests to the Marriott Courtyard & Homewood Suites.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plentiful complimentary guest parking at the main visitor center. Golf cart transportation from the main visitor center parking lot is provided for guests to the ceremony location at the Legare Waring House. If you need to leave your car overnight, it MUST be parked in the main visitor center parking lot. It can then be picked up the next day during park hours (9AM-5PM).

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Semi-Formal: Tuxes and long dresses are welcome as well as suits and cocktail dresses. Keep in mind the ceremony is outside and in the grass. The reception will be under an open air tent within the patio area.
