My cousin, but more so a sister. Despite living in three separate countries our entire lives, Jadzia, Angi, and I have so many fond memories together growing up that sometimes it seems like we have never been apart. No matter how much time passes without seeing each other, whenever we are reunited, we always pick up right where we left off. We are truly one unbreakable trio! Jadzia is the most quick-witted, hilarious, and welcoming individual I have ever met. She is extremely family-oriented, and the entire family is better with her as a part of it.

I think this picture says it all. My brother, Steve, is one-of-a-kind. His easygoing persona and love for everyone makes him the man that he is. If you are ever in need of a laugh, he will never let you down. Throughout the years, he has sent us on many journeys, but now it's my turn to take him out of Wisconsin and introduce him to the dirty South.

The second member of the cousin trio, Angi was the foreign exchange student that introduced Tom and I nine years ago. We would not be gathering on December 30th if it wasn't for her! This beauty is someone who has taught me so much about life, even when we were still in diapers. She is an independent and confident woman, and I am proud to call her my cousin. She is also the sister that I never had, and I am so grateful for her.

Magda and her brother, Daniel, are two peas in a pod...except 10 years apart. It is always entertaining to watch how similar their personalities really are. Daniel has always been someone you can rely on to get things done, and he also makes a mean steak tenderloin, which I think any man can respect. He can make anyone around him feel comfortable, which I believe is a trait that many members of the Szymanek clan are gifted with.
Leighanne Otten

There is no other way to describe Leighanne, besides being my love biscuit! 7 years ago, I accidentally dumped an entire bucket of mop water on her, and we have been friends ever since. Funny how things work out that way. Leighanne is the Christina to my Meredith. We have been through the best and worst times together, and I believe every one of those experiences has molded our wonderful friendship into what it is today.

Magda's oldest brother, Thomas, is someone who's company I always enjoy. He is an open book, which always leads to interesting conversations and never a dull moment. Thomas and I have created some great memories over the years, due to the fact that his door is always open to anyone who wants to hang out. He has truly made me feel welcome and a part of the Szymanek family.

One of the most special human beings, this girl has a heart of gold and it is evident to everyone she meets. Our heart-to-heart conversations are what has made our friendship so special to me. We have laughed till we cried, or just cried. There is never a dull moment when we are together, and no one rocks a 4 hour breakfast date like we do.

Soon after moving to Memphis four years ago, I met Steven. At the time, Magda was coworker's with Steven at a local gym, which naturally, I had to join. Steven's friendship is one that I am truly thankful for. It's always a good time when Stevens around; whether were out camping, watching a game, eating Mexican, or just hanging out. He always knows what's going on around town, and he never lets you down.

She may live in Kenya, but that hasn't stopped me from holding this girl close to my heart. The wisdom that this one has is admirable beyond measure, and she has already taught me many life lessons. Bekah is one of the most genuine and personable people I have ever met. It is truly amazing how she manages to make friends anywhere and everywhere she goes, and I feel so blessed to have this girl in my life.

Conner and I are old roommates of an infamous condo, better known as "FM." Although we only lived there for a year, we managed to create a lot of great memories with many friends. I also don't believe that I have ever had a mundane conversation with this guy, which I certainly appreciate. You can always rely on Conner to tell you exactly what he thinks, and that ever fails to lead to a great laugh.

This girl came into my life while we were in nursing school, and I am forever grateful that she did. We bonded over late night study sessions that almost always turned into life chats. We share a lot of similarities; however, Adleye's confidence in everything she does is something that I have always admired. One of Tom and I's favorite things to do is to spend time with Adleye and Dean, and we are so excited to have this beautiful married couple stand by our side in December!

Magda introduced Dean and I when she became close friends with Dean's wife, Adleye. Over the past couple of years, I have come to really cherish our friendship, and Magda and I always look forward to their company. Dean is a man on a mission, and always carries with him a positive attitude. We always have a good time, and I know our wedding day will be no different.

Kayla also came into my life when we first started nursing school, and I could not have done it without her. Kayla has such a beautiful soul inside and out, and is a model of the kind of wife I hope to become. Her virtues are what make her the strong and spiritual woman that she is, and her love for people and the Lord is so contagious. Our friendship is one that I will cherish forever.

I met Trevor when we both worked at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, and he has truly become a great friend over the past couple of years. After spending long days in the lab each week, our focus shifted when we were both accepted into Bethel University's Physician Assistant program. Now, we spend countless hours each day studying medicine and counting down the days till graduation.

This stud is Magda's nephew, son of Jola and Thomas Szymanek, and our favorite guy under 5 years old. Let's cheer him on as he makes his way down the aisle, and pray he doesn't misplace any actual rings. ;)

Krzysiu is the son of Renata and Maciej Wadiak. We just recently found out that this beautiful family will be able to make it all the way from Vienna, Austria to celebrate with us, and we could not be more thrilled!

Krzysiu’s little sister, Amalia, will be our second flower girl, and we love this sweet peanut so much! Amalia and Krzysiu have the sweetest relationship, and we cannot wait to watch these two dance the night away!
