This sanctuary is at the top of our list of favorite places to go in Memphis. One of the largest urban parks in the country, Shelby Farms has it all. Whether you want to canoe, fish, zip line, hike, or just relax; you will not be disappointed. The park also has one of the most impressive playgrounds we have ever seen for your kiddos. You might even be able to catch their winter Starry Nights event!
Welcome to the South, where a zoo day in the wintertime might not necessarily be as absurd as one would think! If weather permits, take a daytime stroll through our beautiful zoo and see the animals or come at night to experience the winter wonderland known as Memphis Zoo Lights!
