We will be having a smaller ceremony at 4:30, due to the church's limited capacity. The ceremony will start at 4:30 sharp. Pro Renata Brewery will be ready to receive guests for the reception at 5:30. Please see the "Schedule" page for more details on the reception's schedule.
We are hoping to stick to the schedule as closely as possible, so we do plan to start the ceremony promptly at 4:30. We suggest arriving around 4:10 or 4:15 to park & find a spot in the church. If you arrive at or after 4:30 our coordinator will ask you to wait until the processional is done, then you can enter the church. Both parking & seating at the church will be tight, but we will have signs &/or attendants to help. Drive to the top of the parking lot to check for open spaces before beginning to line the driveway with cars. Once the lot is full, guests can park on both sides of the long driveway.
5:20ish The brewery is open to the public, so you'll want to be sure you can grab a parking spot. However, there is a very large parking lot so we don't anticipate parking being an issue. Hot tip: It's easy to Uber from PRN back to Charlottesville. The last time I checked, it was about $20 for the trip. We will have lots of signs & our wonderful coordinators will be on-site to welcome you to the wedding area & answer any questions you have. They'll also give you a wrist band when you enter, be sure to wear it: it's how our bartenders know you're an invited guest & they can serve you ;) We are hoping that the bridal party will arrive by 5:45 and the first dance will be at 6:15!
The ceremony will be held in more of a formal setting, in a small church with air conditioning. The reception is in a tented outdoor area at the brewery. Right now it looks like it's going to be a hottttt day. With that in mind, men: feel free to wear khaki shorts as opposed to pants & more relaxed, slip-on type shoes. Please no denim, which would be a terrible choice anyway for the hot weather : ) While there will be a dance floor, the rest of the outdoor area will be gravel. Summed up: Ladies-We'd suggest sundresses or cocktail attire. Wear your flats or bring some flip-flops to change into. Wearing heels will not be accepted as an excuse for not breaking it down on the dance floor...so dress accordingly! Guys-You know Ryan "doesn't do t-shirts in public, so try & find some buttons & a collar with pants/khaki shorts of your choice."
We have a registry on Amazon & Honeyfund. Gifts made on the Honeyfund site will help us fund our honeymoon. More information can be found on the "Registry" tab of our website.
Come anyway! We've accounted for a few extra guests for this very reason. If you're able to text one of us & let us know, that'd be great. But if not, just show up!
Text, call, or email either of us anytime.
