We will head to Common House with our families and bridal party after our rehearsal on Friday, July 5th to kick off the wedding weekend festivities! This is not an officially hosted event, but the rooftop area will be reserved for our guests from 4:30-6:00. Cocktails & a small snack menu will be available for purchase at the rooftop bar. If you're in town that night, please stop by and say hello! We encourage you to check out our restaurant recommendations on the "Things To Do" page & make a reservation to have dinner in Charlottesville after having a drink with us. We are so excited to celebrate with everyone and would love to see you on Friday!

Since the church is small and has limited capacity, the ceremony will be a smaller event. We regret that we are unable to include everyone in the ceremony, but if you're only attending the reception at PRN we will be so excited to see you and celebrate with you there!

We know it's going to be hot, hot, hot! Men: if you'd prefer to wear khaki shorts instead of pants, please feel free. All guests are welcome to wear slip-on type shoes instead of formal shoes.
5:30-6:30 Happy Hour & introduction of our band for the night: Love Canon! 6:00-8:30ish Dinner Available We will not have a formal, sit-down dinner. Enjoy the pizza buffet, made-to-order taco food truck, & open bar at your leisure...& OF COURSE we'll have a Pittsburgh Cookie Table! We hope that you'll feel at ease and enjoy our relaxed, party-style reception. 9:30/10:00 Reception Ends (at least the part we're hosting. You're welcome to head inside to the brewery if you'd like to keep the party going.) NOTE: We will have security at the entrance to the event. They'll give you a wrist band when you enter, please wear it so our bartenders & coordinators know you're an invited guest :) Wine from the wedding can not leave the wedding area & enter any other area of the brewery. We've asked security to help enforce this, and keep us in the good graces of the VA ABC ;), so if you need to leave the wedding area please be kind and leave your drink behind.
