Hotel
We have reserved a room block at a discounted $149 per night (double or single queen room) or $159 per night (single king room). You must use the special link (by hitting 'View' below) or call and ask for our discount to get this rate. Our block is only guaranteed for 20 rooms but the same rate will be honored for any additional rooms over 20 pending remaining availability. For this reason, we suggest booking as soon as you know that you are able to make arrangements for our weekend. This hotel is only ~1 mile from our venue and Uptown Kingston fun. We will have a shuttle from this location to and from our venue on wedding day. Outside of this, adventurous guests could walk, drive own cars, or use Uber to easily and quickly get to and from town and explore the area.
Hotel
A boutique Hudson Valley hotel where Maegan and Will are staying. Hotel Kinsley is split amongst 5 buildings throughout uptown Kingston, all within walking distance of each other as well as to uptown's shops and restaurants and our wedding venue. Their main building on Wall Street also houses their renowned restaurant and bar. Rates vary per room but average $350-550 per night and a two night minimum stay is required. We have a small room block of 14 rooms open (all rooms in John St and Wall St buildings) that are available only to our wedding guests to book. The room block will close if not all rooms are filled by 60 days out but you may still book with the general public. To book with our room block, you must CALL the hotel at the number above and ask the front desk to hear which rooms are still available in the Neilson-Robinson wedding weekend room block and at which rates. If you attempt to book online, it will appear as though the dates are sold out!
House Or Rental
Airbnb has some great options for a more homey and local experience or great for larger groups looking to stay together and make an upstate NY weekend out of our wedding. While searching, we suggest selecting somewhere within a smaller radius to uptown Kingston (can use Wall Street as a reference point) in order to have easier walking/Uber options to and from town, activities, and our wedding venue. Alternatively, there are also great options further away for rent in towns such as Saugerties, Rhinebeck, Redhook, Catskill, Hunter, etc. that would provide more of a Catskill Mountains weekend. Know that these towns range from 15 minutes to 1 hour away and would be best to have your own car as we will not have transportation provided on wedding day from these further locations.
