Shenandoah Caverns
Guided tours of some of Virginia's most beautiful and unique caverns! Adult tickets: $30, Children: $15, 6 years & younger are free. Drive time is 57 minutes.
Bear Mountain Ziplines
For our thrill seekers, zip line through some of Virginia's most beautiful mountain sides. Adults & Youth $75 per. Weight limits 70 lbs -260 lbs. Kid friendly adventures available as well. Drive time is 52 minutes and just down the road from the Shenandoah Caverns.
South River Falls Observation Point
From South River Picnic Grounds, this hike leads you through a verdant forest alive with a wide variety of plant and animal life to a stone-walled observation point overlooking an 83 foot waterfall. Be prepared for one stream crossing. Hiking time is 1.5 hours and is labeled as a "moderate" hike. Trail head is a 16 minute drive from the venue site.
Skyline Drive Entrance
This is the closest entrance to Skyline Drive being only a 9 minute drive from the venue site. Please make sure your gas tank is full before entering Skyline Drive. It is a beautiful, scenic drive with pull off points for photos. How long of a drive you want to make is up to you! Website listed below will help with any of your travel questions regarding Skyline Drive or Shenandoah National Park. This entrance is the "Swift Run Gap Entrance"

This is the closest full service grocery store to the venue site being a 9 minute drive from the venue location. Hours are 7 AM to 9 PM. Beer and wine available.
ABC Store
This will be the closest ABC Store to Lydia's Mountain Lodge. It is a 16 minute drive from the lodge but is also on route on the drive in from Richmond.
