Carlsbad & Oceanside The majority of our events, as well as transportation, will be in Carlsbad. But both Carlsbad and Oceanside are great coastal towns just minutes apart and offer slightly different vibes. Carlsbad feels a bit more relaxed and polished, with a charming village, scenic coastal walks, and a great mix of cafes, shops, and restaurants - perfect for a calm, beachy weekend. Oceanside has a more lively, classic beach-town feel, with a walkable downtown, iconic pier, surf culture, and plenty of casual spots to eat, drink, and explore. You can’t go wrong with either - it just depends whether you’re looking for laid-back coastal charm or energetic seaside fun.

Shuttle from Carlsbad to Botanica

A shuttle will depart from the Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort promptly at 3:30pm. We strongly suggest guests arrive by 3:15pm at the latest to avoid any issues! Ubers & Lyfts are readily available, if needed or preferred, as well.

We'd suggest the area surrounding Carlsbad Boulevard or State Street in Carlsbad to be in close to other guests, welcome drinks and after-party venues, and provided transportation. Oceanside is another great city with its own vibe (see above)! Feel free to reach out to either of us with any question or if you'd like suggestions!

~45 minute drive to Carlsbad and ~60 minute drive to Botanica Obviously the best - plenty of direct flights on Delta, JetBlue, and Alaska Airlines!
