Ponce City Market ■
Ponce City Market is a popular Atlanta food hall with great restaurants, shops, and places to grab a drink. You can also head upstairs to Skyline Park at Ponce City Market, the rooftop amusement area with carnival-style games, mini golf, drinks, and incredible views of the Atlanta skyline.
Georgia Aquarium & World of Coca-Cola ■
These two iconic Atlanta attractions are located right next to each other in downtown Atlanta, making them easy to visit in the same afternoon. The aquarium is one of the largest in the world and home to incredible marine life like whale sharks, manta rays, and dolphins. Just steps away, the World of Coca-Cola lets you explore the history of the famous brand and taste Coca-Cola products from around the globe. Guests can also purchase a combined ticket to experience both attractions in one visit.
Buckhead Village ●
A lively and upscale area in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood, perfect for shopping, dining, and nightlife. Some of our personal favorite spots here include Carmel, Gypsy Kitchen, and Yeppa—all great for delicious meals and a fun atmosphere. While Buckhead Village has plenty for adults, it’s less focused on children’s activities, so it’s best suited for adults and older teens rather than younger kids.
Truist Park & The Battery ■
If you’re a sports fan and have some extra time in Atlanta, catching a game with the Atlanta Braves is a fun way to spend an afternoon or evening. The Braves play at Truist Park. Just outside the stadium is The Battery Atlanta, a lively entertainment district filled with restaurants, bars, shops, and live music. Even if there isn’t a game while you're visiting, it’s still a great place to walk around, grab dinner, or enjoy a drink.
Peachtree Road Farmers Market ■
For guests arriving on Friday and early on Saturday, this local farmers market is a great way to start your Saturday and is a must-visit!! You’ll find fresh produce, baked goods, flowers, and artisanal treats, plus a lively, community-focused atmosphere with live music. It’s a fun, relaxed stop before getting ready for the wedding—perfect for families or anyone who enjoys a taste of Atlanta’s local flavor.
The Garden Room ●
A beautiful and unique restaurant known for its lush garden-inspired interior filled with greenery, flowers, and twinkling lights. This spot is extra special to us because it’s where we celebrate our anniversary each year! Reservations are highly recommended.
La Grotta Ristorante ●
One of our personal favorites in Midtown Atlanta, La Grotta offers a cozy, charming atmosphere and authentic Italian cuisine that never disappoints. It’s perfect for a romantic dinner, a relaxed night out with friends, or a celebratory meal during your trip. Reservations are recommended, especially on busy weekends, to make sure you get a table.
Eclipse di Luna - Buckhead ■
Another one of our personal favorites! This vibrant tapas restaurant in Atlanta is known for its lively atmosphere, family-friendly vibe, and often features live music. It’s a great spot to enjoy small plates, share drinks, and soak in the energetic, festive environment. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends, to secure your spot.
