Grab a wine tasting at San Juan Vineyard, stop by San Juan Island Distillery for local spirits and cocktails, or enjoy a meal with a view at Westcott Bay Shellfish Co., one of our favorite spots for fresh seafood.
May is also a beautiful time to visit the island’s lavender farms as everything starts to bloom, making for a perfect afternoon stroll. If you’re feeling adventurous, a whale watching tour is always worth it. Spring is an incredible time to spot orcas and other wildlife around the islands!
For those who love being outdoors, there are plenty of scenic beaches and hiking trails to explore. Lime Kiln Point State Park is a local favorite, with gorgeous coastal views, walking paths, and some of the best shoreline scenery on the island.
