Cordell and Maddie first met in high school in 2014. They quickly developed crushes on each other and enjoyed spending time together on the track team, but with an age difference and being at different stages of life, the timing never quite felt right. After high school, the two stayed in touch over the years. In 2019, Cordell invited Maddie to visit him in San Diego while he was on vacation with his friends. They spent the day riding bikes, going on the roller coaster, and enjoying the beautiful sunset from the beachfront. While the timing still wasn't quite right, the trip became a special memory that neither of them would forget. Everything changed in May 2020 when Maddie returned home early from college. The two began talking more regularly and soon went on their first official date. They spent the day jet skiing on Lake Stevens, gathered around a bonfire that evening, and shared great conversation late into the night. From that day on, the rest was history. By the end of the summer, they officially became boyfriend and girlfriend. Shortly afterward, Maddie returned to school in California, and the couple spent the next two and a half years navigating a long-distance relationship. Despite the miles between them, they continued to grow together, support one another, and build a strong foundation for their future. Over the years, Cordell and Maddie have shared countless adventures, celebrated milestones, and created a life they love together. In 2022, they welcomed their sweet dog, Ollie, into the family, adding even more joy to their journey. After years of love, growth, and building a life together, Cordell and Maddie are thrilled to begin their forever as husband and wife. Their wedding day is more than a celebration of their love, it's a celebration of the incredible family and friends who have been part of their journey. They are so excited to gather with the people they love most, celebrate this long-awaited chapter, and create memories that will last a lifetime!
