Maid of Honor
Madi's older sister, who despite years of torturing her was still asked to be the Maid of Honor. She is a fellow dog mom to Madi's nieces Winnie and Stella, and wife to the wonderful Meg Stahl. She enjoys spending her weekends at the Vikings games in Minneapolis, or reliving her high school glory days playing golf. They may be exact opposites, but Madi still loves her big sister.
Bridesmaid
One of Madi's best friends that she's known since kindergarten. Lover of all things Disney, Hamilton, and cats. She's been there for Madi through some of her most important life moments, including her proposal (which she totally caught on film). She always takes her calls, even when she knows they will last for at least an hour. There is no one that probably understands Madi more, and no one more grateful than Madi to be her friend.
Bridesmaid
Thank goodness their names are spelled differently, or writing this would be a lot more difficult. Maddie Young is of the wittiest and most ambitious people Madi has ever known. It was not enough to go to law school and work at a successful law firm, no. Maddie is now in the process of getting her PhD at Stanford, and will have gotten married to her fiancé Mitch Materna shortly before this wedding takes place. If there's one thing about Maddie's friendship that Madi will never forget, it is her famous line from their freshman play Romeo and Juliet - "This is the place, there where the torch doth burn." May their friendship keep burning forever.
Bridesmaid
Anna is the perfect human. She is the kind of friend to bake you a cake based on your favorite video game for your birthday, help you and your family on moving day, and she makes a mean mojito. A genuinely good person, and an even greater friend!
Best Man
Nick's only brother was an easy choice for this position. He's made Nick's favorite niece and nephew with Audrey. He and Nick became roommates again for the final time in college playing soccer together at Wartburg, which led to many of Nick's favorite memories.
Groomsman
Wartburg team and room-mate, now my favorite Omahan.
Groomsman
Wartburg teammate. Recently abandoned us to move to Minneapolis, but we won't hold that against him.
Groomsman
First pick for officiant. Iowa City friend. Moderately competitive DMK athlete.
