Below are some of our recommendations for places to eat/visit on Friday or Sunday. Iowa City has a great downtown that is easily walkable, so we highly recommend checking it out. Coralville also has a lot of great places to eat and shop if you're interested!

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Iowa City! They serve the best sushi, and are open at 4pm if you're looking for a good place to eat Friday evening.

Formosa

We go here regularly for incredible Mexican food with a great atmosphere! There is also an outdoor patio, which is lovely for warm nights.

Casa Azul Restaurante y Cantina Coralville

Onnuri has the most authentic Korean food that I've had since my (Madi's) return from South Korea! You can also typically do the "grill it yourself" style, adding a fun and unique experience to your dinner.
