Where to fly in to?

We recommend flying into either Naples (1 hour north of Ravello) or Rome (3 hours north of Ravello.) Important note: Please make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months past your travel date. When we go this year (2024), we will be flying into Rome, staying a few nights to see historical monuments, and then taking a 1 hour high speed train to Naples where we have a private driver picking us up to take us straight to Ravello. This is a perfect way to hit many popular attractions during your trip, if that is what you are looking for! PS: If you are looking for the most affordable flights, we also recommend searching for the cheapest flights to other Europe cities during the same travel dates in May 2025. Then booking a connecting flight from that city to Naples. You could cut the price in half, if you are willing to have an extra stop!

Rental Car

Driving?

We do not recommend renting a car to drive to the Amalfi Coast as the roads are treacherous; however, if you choose to do so, please check with your hotel about available parking. ​ We have used and recommend the car services provided by our coordinators. Keep in mind the town of Ravello may be hilly or have walking paths with stairs. There is also no room for vehicles to drive through the town, so a majority must be walked.
