Flight

Denver International (DIA) or Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN)

The closest airport to Steamboat Springs is Yampa Valley Regional Airport. The airport is 22 miles from Steamboat. Denver International Airport is about 2 hours and 45 minutes from Steamboat (160 miles) but is a great option if you want to stop in Denver or have a beautiful scenic drive. Scroll down for more info on ground transportation.

House Or Rental

Airbnb & VRBO

There are many short term rental options available in Steamboat Springs via Airbnb, VRBO, or other rental sites. The majority are located by the ski resort area which is a ~10 minute drive to “downtown” Steamboat Springs where the church, shopping, restaurants, etc are located.

Hotel

Rabbit Ears Motel

201 Lincoln Avenue, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487

Rabbit Ears is a historically retro motel in a great location of downtown Steamboat, walking distance to Holy Name Catholic Church, shopping, restaurants, etc. It’s not the luxury option, but it’s got cool, retro charm!

Transportation Information

Transportation to and from the reception venue via central pickup / drop-off in downtown Steamboat Springs will be provided on the day of the wedding. The shuttle buses will begin doing loops early in the night following dinner and run until the end of the reception. If you’re flying into Denver, you’ll either need to book a shuttle or bus to get from Denver to Steamboat or rent a car. There are plenty of car rental options at the airport, and you can also look into Turo. You may find that having a rental car for the trip makes everything less of a hassle. If you’re flying into Steamboat, you can book in town shuttles, rent a car, or use Uber/Lyft. The availability of Ubers can be spotty (it’s not a huge town), and depending on the activities you’re interested in while you visit, a rental car might be the best idea. You can book one of the major car rental companies or look at Turo!
