All of our wedding events will be held at Snowbird's Cliff Lodge. We have set up a room block for guests that includes a discounted rate. SLC airport is located 45 minutes from Snowbird. Hotel check-in begins at 4pm so we recommend landing in the afternoon so you have time to unpack, settle in, and eat dinner before the Welcome Reception at 8pm. Should you plan to arrive prior to check-in, Snowbird can store your luggage until your room is ready. *Important Reminder* - It's Labor Day Weekend so anticipate longer wait times at the airport! (fun fact: Erika and her brother actually missed their flight to Utah on Labor Day Weekend 2024 and Maddie left without them ☹ )

Transportation & Directions

Snowbird offers an airport shuttle service than can be booked when you make your hotel reservation or by calling Snowbird Central Reservations at 1-800-453-3000. It costs $114 per person round trip or $57 per person one-way pre-paid. This can be booked up to 48 hours prior to your arrival date or they accept same-day walk-ups on an availability basis for a higher rate. You may also choose other transportation methods such as Uber, Lyft, rental car, or hitch-hiking if you feel adventurous. (fun fact: at 16yo Maddie was told by an older co-worker that the most reliable way to get up the canyon to work in the winter was to hitch-hike) Directions to Snowbird: Leaving the airport, take I-80 E to I-215 S. Follow I-215 to exit 6 6200 S/Big Cottonwood Rd. Make a right off of the exit onto 6200 S. Follow this road as it turns into Wasatch Blvd. After 5.5 miles the road will split, continue straight onto UT-210 Little Cottonwood Canyon (LCC) Rd. Continue up the canyon toward Snowbird. There are 4 Snowbird Entry Points, you will take Entry 4, following the signs for Cliff Lodge. After turning off the main canyon road, you will make a right, drive down the hill to the Cliff Lodge Entrance where you may turn left for self-park or right for valet. Be advised, cell reception can be spotty in the canyon, but there are many signs that will guide you to Snowbird's Cliff Lodge should you lose service.
