Some parts of the celebration will take place outside, and it can be quite hot throughout August in Albania, so we suggest choosing light and comfortable clothing to stay cool throughout the day.
"Marrja e Nuses" (literally "The Taking of the Bride") is a deeply rooted and cherished tradition in Albanian weddings. It refers to the ceremonial moment when the groom and his family go to the bride’s home to bring her to the wedding venue, symbolizing the transition of the bride from her family’s home to her new life with her husband. This ritual is full of cultural significance and involves a series of joyful and symbolic events. We will then await the Groom and his family to come pick up Maddy!

Following the ceremony, enjoy a delightful cocktail hour from 6:30-7:30pm as we toast to the happy couple. The evening will continue with a joyous reception and dinner starting at 8pm, with festivities lasting into the night until 3am.
