What is included in "all inclusive" and specific to the Hyatt Ziva?

Is there a Dress Code for the Wedding?

Answer

The dress code for Mexico is Beach Formal. We want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy the celebration, so please dress accordingly for the venue and the vibe of the event. Things to Think About for Mexico: * The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be outdoors, but NOT on the beach/sand * You may need sunglasses at the ceremony * The ceremony may be windy * You are welcome to bring comfy or more casual shoes to change into for dancing! * Costume changes encouraged

When Should I Book My Stay?

Answer

You can reserve your room now! To book within our room block, simply click on the Cancun Accommodations tab on this site. When booking, you'll need to provide a credit card to secure your reservation. However, your card will not be charged until FEBRUARY 17, 2026. You can easily modify your reservation by using the edit feature on Hyatt's website. You may cancel for a full refund 14 days prior to arrival. Please note that our room block is limited, and additional rooms will be subject to availability. Since our wedding takes place during Spring Break, a busy travel period, we recommend booking as soon as possible to secure your stay. Our room block will close for bookings on February 17, 2026.

How Do I Book My Stay?

You may book directly via our room block (see the Cancun Accommodations tab) or at https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/group-booking/CANIF/G-2BTA. To book through our room block, a minimum of three nights is required.

What if I Want to Stay Less than Three Nights?

Answer

You may book directly via Hyatt's website at www.hyatt.com or https://www.resortsbyhyatt.com/ziva-cancun or any other booking engine. Please be sure to NOT confuse Hyatt Ziva Cancun with Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun. These are two different resorts.

Can I Stay Somewhere Else?

Answer

Of course! You're welcome to stay wherever you prefer. If you choose not to stay at the Hyatt Ziva Cancun, please let us know so we can coordinate arrangements for you to attend the wedding. For convenience, we recommend booking a hotel in the "Cancun Hotel Zone" to stay near the Hyatt Ziva Cancun.

What Airport Should I Fly Into?

Answer

You should fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN). Upon arrival, proceed through immigration and customs. After clearing customs and passing through the first set of sliding doors, do not stop for anyone offering unsolicited assistance in the airport. Scammers may attempt to approach you with offers of help for your luggage or transportation. Once you’re completely outside the airport, look for your pre-arranged transfer provider (Travicons, if you booked with them) or an authorized taxi service.

How Do I Get to the Resort?

Answer

We have arranged for a special discounted rate for transfers to the resort from the airport through Travicons.com. Please use promo code MBZT. The round trip rate for your private transfer is $82.50 (plus tip). If you are arriving and departing on the same flights with others, you should arrange your transfers together to share the cost. Be sure to have your booking confirmation handy and head to the designated area where Travicons is waiting for you (this will be noted on your confirmation letter). The airport is approximately 20-25 minutes from the resort (without traffic).

How Do I Locate Travicons for our Transfer to the Resort or Hotel?

Answer

After you exit the airport, you can find Travicons based on your arrival terminal: Terminal 2: next to the International Welcome Bar Terminal 3: next to Margaritaville Terminal 4: next to the Welcome Bar Travicons representatives will be holding a sign with the name of the person who booked the transfer.

Answer

Your presence at our wedding means the world to us, and we understand that traveling to Cancun is a significant commitment. Simply having you there to celebrate is the greatest gift we could ask for. We kindly ask that you not bring gifts. However, if you feel moved to contribute, we’ve set up a fund to support us as we start building our future together.

What Other Expenses Should I Expect Besides My Room Cost?

- $4 per room per night Eco Tax - charged to your room - $15 per person Visit Tax - collected by the Cancun International Airport - Tip Money - Tipping is not required, but is always appreciated. We recommend bringing small American bills or pesos to give to our bartenders, wait staff and housekeepers. Do I Need a Passport to Travel to Mexico?

Answer

YES! You DO need a valid passport to travel to Mexico. If you already have a passport, make sure it is not expired and valid for at least six months after your return from Cancun. If it is expired, you can have it renewed by mail. If you do not have a passport, you should apply for one soon. Passport processing times can take weeks, not including mailing time. This can change very quickly, so securing your passport sooner is better.
