Cancun Ceremony

Beach Formal, color encouraged, costume changes welcome!
The Cliff Gazebo at Hyatt Ziva Cancun Please arrive no later than 4:30pm so that we can begin the ceremony on time.
Cancun Cocktail Hour
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
We assume you will wear the same attire as the ceremony...but who knows...this could be a good time to do a costume change for the reception ;)
Join us immediately following the ceremony in the lawn area of the Cliff Gazebo for cocktails prior to the formal reception up on the Roof Top Terrace!
Cancun Reception
7:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Show off your finery for the reception! Feel free to change out of your sun drenched clothes into something more fun to dance in!
Follow us after the cocktail hour to the rooftop terrace for dinner, drinks and dancing! The encouraged costume change is to wear something more fun to dance in but hey, who knows, your ceremony look might be PERFECT to dance in! In that case add a funfetti twist to your attire - think color, think shine, think fun! There is a mood board of Funfetti Attire if you want it :)

Picnic chic - good for grass, sun and shade!
We are so excited to celebrate at Stafford Lake with a picnic potluck! We’d love for you to bring a dish that’s special to you - something you love, whether it’s a family favorite, a cultural dish, or simply something delicious you enjoy making. To make this day even more meaningful, please also bring a copy of your recipe (printed or handwritten) to share. We’re gathering all the recipes into a wedding cookbook as a keepsake of this day and the love from everyone who came. Feel free to bring appetizers, mains, sides, salads, drinks or desserts—whatever inspires you! We’ll have plenty of tables set up for sharing, and please bring enough to serve a few dozen tastings since we’re expecting a very large group of people. Your contribution will make this celebration truly unforgettable! There will be a small ceremony for us to officially sign our wedding documents (since we can't be legally married in Mexico). A few words, a big cheer and then we can eat, dance, and play games!
