Davidson College
We love Davidson and the best way to see our beautiful town is to visit Davidson College! Visiting our campus is the best way to discover Davidson. You can walk the brick pathways, check out Belk Arena where Stephen Curry played, and walk right into downtown.
D9 Brewing Lake Norman
D9 Brewing is Davidson's hometown brewery and is located about 10 minutes from downtown. They have great outdoor seating, as well as delicious and unique craft beers and ciders! We recommend trying the Swell Rider and Hakuna Matata!
U.S. National Whitewater Center
Whitewater has been creating opportunities to bring people together outdoors at the U.S. National Whitewater Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Whitewater Center is designed and operated as an outdoor center offering over 30 different recreational activities. Every element and activity is focused on supporting an all-encompassing experience around the outdoor lifestyle. Additionally, the Whitewater Center hosts international competitions in a variety of sports along with numerous festivals and events on a recurring basis.
Charlotte Knights Baseball
We love going to Charlotte Knights Baseball games located in downtown Charlotte. Just down the road from Davidson, the Charlotte Knights stadium sits right next door to the Bank of America Stadium and has one the best views of the Charlotte skyline! Tickets are usually pretty easy to find and if you are lucky, you may see an incredible fireworks show! Make sure to grab the queso-barbeque nachos!
Lazy 5 Ranch
If you are looking for a fun and hilarious adventure during the day, we recommend visiting Mooresville's Lazy 5 Ranch! This super fun ranch has everything from Giraffes to Zebras to Ostriches! Drive your car through the ranch and interact with these animals close up.
Kindred
Looking for a place to grab a bite to eat? Kindred is a fan favorite restaurant located in the heart of the Davidson! Last year, it was named Charlotte's #1 restaurant. Make sure to checkout Kindred while you are in town! You have to try their homemade milk bread!
Whit's Frozen Custard
Sweet tooth? Come check out the best custard in the state of North Carolina! And yes Raleigh friends... this is better than Goodberry's. We love to stop by this local custard shop!

We love this adorable Farm-to-table sandwich shop located in the heart of Davidson! The Pickled Peach is a staple of Davidson's culture and community. The shop is in walking distance of Ben and Jerry's, Summit Coffee and Main Street Davidson. Make sure to check out this lunch spot during your visit!

Looking for a coffee shop close to the venue? Visiting Summit Coffee is a must! This coffee shop has had it's roots in Davidson for decades! This spot is a great place to relax with friends, grab some coffee and read, and to take pictures! We love Summit!
