We have not yet made an official RSVP link, as we just wanted to get out our "save the dates" so people can start planning accordingly! We would to hear from you if you know for certain that you will be attending! We will send out a more formal RSVP link closer to this summer :) Stay tuned and be sure to check our WhatsApp community announcement's page for more updates!
We are planning on a menu tasting come July, and will have our meal options out shortly thereafter!
No, not at all!! The welcome mixer is on Tuesday evening and we were envisioning it to be a fun time for all of the families and friends to get to know each other prior to the big day. It's not required, but we would love to see you there! Our wedding is on Wednesday, but we would absolutely love if you could stay until Thursday or even Friday! (See itinerary page for planned events). Keep checking back here or on the WhatsApp community for updates!
YES! For the wedding, we are asking our guests to kindly adhere to a dress code of Earth Tones ❤ We invite you to celebrate with us in a color palette inspired by nature. Please come dressed in elegant earth tones—think warm neutrals, soft greens, browns, beiges, blues, and muted golds. We want everyone to feel comfortable and connected to the natural beauty of the landscape around us. We can’t wait to see how you bring your personal style to this harmonious theme! Good question! Edinburgh is a lovely European city with plenty of public transport. It's a small big city, so while there is no metro/subway system, there is a tram that runs throughout the New Town, and plenty of busses available. We recommend staying as central as you can, whether that is Old Town or New Town. Old Town has more hills/stairs so be mindful of that when booking your accommodation. We recommend anywhere in Leith and as close to Leith Walk as you can (where the tram runs). The wedding will take place at the Shore in Leith, but most of the tourist attractions are near Princes Street Garden and in Old Town along the Royal Mile. We encourage those who are able to support local business by booking accommodation from bed and breakfasts or boutique hotels, but Airbnb and chain hotels may be a cheaper option.
It's worth checking your phone tariff for fees to use your phone in the UK, but it's probably a good idea to get an eSIM. iD mobile offers 1 month rolling contracts, so you can cancel at the end of your trip. At time of writing, there is a 40GB tariff available for just £7
