Downtown Fort Worth is Ashley's favorite part of DFW. The cattle drive happens every day at 11:30 and 4pm. And if you pay $5 you can get a picture sitting on a longhorn (see photo of Ashley). If you've never been to Texas - this is a pretty classic tourist attraction. For extra fun - stay for the rodeo, which happens almost every Friday and Saturday night at the Cowtown Colliseum.
The Museum, located within the former Texas School Book Depository building, chronicles the life, assassination and legacy of President John F. Kennedy.
A park designed in the middle of downtown and uptown, food trucks are present most days for a bite to eat while you relax.
Entry is free for the main museum, there's a lot of good things to see!
The Perot is a great spot for adults and for kids. For an after dark adventure, they offer Thursdays on Tap where adults get access to the museum after hours for a unique experience.
Go up the tower for some great views of Dallas! (Madeleine and Ashley haven't actually been up but this is on the list of things to do in Dallas on google)
Beautiful year round - the arboretum is a great place to visit in cooler months.
The Dallas World Aquarium is more of a zoo but it's a really really cool zoo.
