Celebrating the Marriage of

Zach and Maddy met at an old job they shared. Zach was a screen printer and Maddy, a project manager telling him what to do. Maddy would set expectations high, Zach would crack wise, and then deliver even better results. They quickly built off of this dynamic over many after-work happy hours, holiday parties, and, eventually, official dates.

Zach and Maddy took a memorable road trip to California for a friend’s wedding, planning to take the scenic Highway 1 back home. Along the way, Zach suggested collecting little mementos like flowers and unique rocks in a small jewelry bag Maddy had brought along. It became a fun tradition during their five-day car camping adventure, gathering keepsakes from each stop. On the final day of the trip, while visiting Devil’s Punch Bowl in Brookings, Oregon, and soaking in the breathtaking, ocean views, Zach reached into the pouch (the running joke being that we “proposed” at almost every stop). But this time, instead of a joke, he pulled out the real ring and asked Maddy to marry him. To make the moment even more special, their best friends Kelsey and Vannah popped out from behind a rock, having secretly filmed the proposal so Z & M could always relive that incredible day and the joy felt!
