Wedding Party

Megan Edison

Maid of Honor

My first soulmate & other half. From the moment Megan & I met in 6th grade, we knew we were best friends. From bonding over our love of musicals in middle school choir, learning to bake together in the summers, & convincing everyone we were secretly twins. we can do anything as long as we are together.

Eric Dreifuerst

Best Man

Eric and I have been close pretty much since the day he was born. So close, in fact, that I would crawl into his crib when he was first brought home! We are a great duo because Eric is basically a professional baker, home-brewer, and meat-smoker--and I am a willing taste-tester. Whether he is covering some of my chores so I could go see Maddie, or driving for hours to spend an afternoon together, Eric really has been the best brother and Best Man a guy could ask for.

Lizzie Vitale

Bridesmaid

Forever thankful to my mom for marrying my stepdad so that I could have a sister. No one else can sing every single word to Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" with me, make me laugh until I cry, or speak with me only in SpongeBob quotes quite like she can.

Riley Roquet

Groomsman

Ry and I met each other during middle school, during probably the awkwardest years of my life. I am pretty sure one of us (?) ripped the other's shirt with their braces on the first day. Naturally, Ry would become my best friend through high school, and our families would call us "Ry-squared", giving you a great idea of what happens when two would-be-engineers share a nickname. Ry also helped photograph Maddie and I's proposal and has been our supporter since the absolute beginning.

Emma Reed

Bridesmaid

In college, Emma & I took an astronomy & physics class together and it was then that I knew our friendship was a forever kind of friendship--if we could make it through that, we can make it through anything. Known as the house grandmas Emma & I are soul sisters in our early bedtimes, wrinkly hands & love of taking care of others.

Luke Kipfer

Groomsman

Luke is a determined guy. I don't know if you have ever run 6 miles on December 19th because you wanted to see the midnight premiere of the Star Wars movie and had to catch a 7 am Amtrack, but Luke has. I can attribute just about my entire knowledge of bubble tea, Game of Thrones, and statistics to Luke's determination and friendship. In exchange, I provided kegs of rootbeer (Luke's favorite) which he somehow finished insanely fast for one human.

Abigail Nash

Bridesmaid

Abigail is the kind of friend that I can count on to jump in the car for a spontaneous weekend trip, who will drop everything & show up, and whose voice memos never fail to make me laugh and feel like we are right there together (even if we're miles apart). Basically, everyone needs an Abigail in their life, I'm lucky to have her.

Nic Martini

Groomsman

Hanging out with your then-girlfriend-now-fiancée's older brother is supposed to be painful and always a test, right? Unless the test was hitting wiffle ball's in the backyard or having a cold beer in the sun, I don't think Nic got the memo. Whether it is pulling up 80+ red snapper out of the Gulf, playing bags in the backyard, or talking about whiskey, Nic is a guy you want to share the best moments in life with.

Abby Carr

Bridesmaid

As soon as Abby & I met, all we could think was "why weren't we friends sooner?" Abby is my sunshine soul sister. Abby gets me on so many levels: our sweet adventures, our deep talks, our pursuit of the perfect Miel latte, and our laughter over the same things. Over the years, Abby & I have gotten to travel to each others' favorite places, and turn daydreams into reality & I can't wait to do it for the rest of our lives.

Trevor Niemczyk

Groomsman

When I first met Trevor, I thought he was a little bit reserved, but when I moved in with him, I learned it was just a filter to not frighten strangers. I don't know how it got started, but Trevor started a series of $1 "bets" within our senior year household to get us into the strangest of situations. Things like drinking pickle juice, mixing strawberries and stroganoff, or wearing socks on your hands were just a Tuesday thanks to Trevor. Trevor's superpowers can be summed up by his ability to: get you into weird situations, sleep through a fire alarm and eat Carolina Reaper peppers casually.

Lizzie Kaczorowski

Bridesmaid

If Lizzie & I lived together for 1 more year, we would've qualified for a domestic partnership, which is basically all you need to know. My partner in all things--college roommate, international travel, moving across the country, working our first corporate jobs-- you name it, we've probably been through it together. She's my ultimate cheerleader, she makes me better, & I couldn't do life without her.

Noah Debroux

Groomsman

One of the first things I learned about Noah is he is a tinkerer. He always will have the right tool for the job, even if he has to 3D print it, layout the PCB, and solder it himself. He will go out of his way to help you build a glowing llama-topped Christmas tree, or have *3* extra sleds on hand. Noah is consistent and willing to work to stay connected, even across the country.

Georgia McCauley

Bridesmaid

Georgia is the kind of friend that makes space for you easily celebrates you, and holds you up, without any pretense. Georgia is my go-to friend to share whatever new thing I'm loving; whether it's music, food, a new show, or I just need to process, I can always count on her to dive in deep with me. I don't think I could cover as many topics in a conversation, make as many references, or feel at home with anyone else.

Andrew Graff

Groomsman

Andrew was my first connection at UT, and let me say, I couldn't have survived grad school if it weren't for him and the group of guys he connected me to. From 12 hour days in the lab, to taking us out wakeboarding, Andrew is the type of guy that brings people together. Plus, he loves homebrewing and distillery tours, so it's hard to not have something fun to do with Andrew every weekend. Andrew has never experienced the Wisconsin winter, so you may find him next to the heater for most of cocktail hour!

Susan Doetsch

Bridesmaid

I'll never have enough words to express how grateful I am that I not only met Sooze, but that (on a boat tour in Puerto Rico) she agreed to move to Austin with me. Sooze is perhaps the best listener, best question-asker, and storyteller I've ever met (she seriously deserves her own podcast full of stories and interviews). Her superpower is making people feel welcome and heard. I cherish our date nights together watching period dramas and eating tacos (sorry, Ryan, you just can't compete).

Marius Facktor

Groomsman

It is kind of incredible when you move across the country and meet someone who grew up down the road about 15 min. Marius is from Waunakee, so it is more than a little incredible that I never met him until that first day at UT. He is secretly very sweet, and does things like making a photo of your engagement out of wood shavings! Marius is also the type of guy who makes things happen, like building a bar in our friend's garage or organizing and painting shirts for our friend's band. He is also going to be one of our local tour guides if I can convince him!
