Grand Rapids, MI is Beer City USA! We have the country's best breweries - if you decide to come for a long weekend, we recommend hitting up as many local breweries as you can. Founders is a must, with to-die-for appetizers and killer beer, not to mention a great atmosphere.
New Holland Brewing Co.
The next stop for the booze cruise. New Holland originated in Holland, MI and recently built a location in Grand Rapids, and it has been bumping ever since. Killer IPAs.
Grand Rapids Brewing Co.
Drunk yet? Right in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids, this is a local favorite. Come here after the wedding on Sunday for brunch and the bloody mary bar!
Brewery Vivant
Maddie and Eddie's FAVORITE! Nothing beats this place. It's an old church that they renovated into a brewery. Incredible food and some of the best beer GR has to offer. This is a must!
Atwater Brewery
If you're not blackout by now, don't bother coming to the wedding. Originally from Detroit, Atwater opened a Grand Rapids location and has been packed ever since. Unique food and unique beer!
The B.O.B.
A Grand Rapids staple - this 5-floor building has something different on each floor, including B.O.B.'s Brewery (shocking!), a dueling piano bar, and Dr. Grin's Comedy Club. $5 fee to get in after 9 PM.

If you're not looking to be drunk 24/7, Grand Rapids has a pretty amazing museum, complete with a carousel and planetarium inside! 3 floors and right downtown, it's a family favorite.
Grand Rapids Downtown Market
This place is the coolest. 20+ food shops are inside, including Grand Rapids' best coffee, sweets, meats and produce.
Frederick Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park
Nature lover? This is Michigan's largest tropical conservatory, including five indoor theme gardens, outdoor gardens, nature trails and boardwalk. The BEST pics for your Instagram, promise.
