The year is 2015. Eduardo and Maddie have just graduated college, lost on life's next steps, and searching for a job that doesn't require them to sit behind a desk. That's when Jimmy John's Guerilla Marketing fell into their lap - a travel-intensive job working alongside the hottest hotties the sandwich-making world has ever known. Best friends and memories were made, booze was consumed, late nights on the road plentiful. Maddie and Eddie were assigned to work the World Championship Snowmobile Derby in WI with other marketers, and were quickly drawn to each other's personalities. He was a momma's boy, she was loud AF. They exchanged numbers and kept drinking, per usual. Shortly after, they were both assigned to work the Jimmy John's National Convention in Vegas. Maddie attempted to hit on Eddie several times, with him literally NEVER getting the hint. But they made each other laugh, and sparks were flying. Eddie was assigned to open and manage the entire Santa Rosa, CA market for three months, and he needed a partner. Their bomb managers were secretly matchmakers and placed them together. They spent several weeks as partners, and soon Santa Rosa became their second home. They completely skipped over the "let me flirt and impress you and try hard" phase, because they were always in a Jimmy John's polo and covered in mayo 94% of the time. But the laughing was endless, and the connection was instant. Some might say they found love in a very hopeless place, but without Jimmy John's they wouldn't have the friends, memories and experiences they have today, and they wouldn't have found each other. After many years, Maddie has introduced Eddie to GOOD music, pin trading at Disney, golf, The Bachelor franchise and whipped cream on coffee. Eddie has introduced Maddie to Mexican soccer, Chicago deep dish pizza, and what a good ass taco should taste like. They are currently parents to two black furbabies, Binx and Figaro, aka the best cats this world will ever know. Fact.
