Mac and Colby met when Mac walked into Colby's living room. He had just moved in with Molly and Sam (both of whom are in the wedding party), and Mac was helping Sam move the last of his things in. Colby thought she was cute, Mac didn't think anything at all. A few weeks later, Mac asked Sam, "am I full of myself or does Colby like me?" and Sam said, "no, he's just really friendly." Two days later, Sam said, "actually I was wrong." After a couple of weeks of flirting and back and forth, they eventually decided to give this thing a shot in October of 2019. In the years since, they have intertwined their communities, grown close with one another's families, adopted the best dog in the world, and built a life they love.
